Jordy Boersma is Crewing Manager at Maaskade Bevrachters. As the son of a skipper, he grew up with inland shipping and knows the sector inside and out. In his role, he ensures that the right people are in the right place, and that every voyage proceeds with a motivated, safe, and strong team on board.

Maurits Duizendstra has known the Maaskade Group for years and consciously returned to the fleet. As skipper of the Mts Ommoord, he combines experience, craftsmanship, and trust with challenging voyages throughout Europe. Naomi Schouten has been working for the Maaskade Group since December 2016 and has developed over the years from planner and charterer to co-owner and charterer at Maruna Bevrachting. With her broad experience in various parts of the group, she knows the dynamics of inland shipping inside out. In her role, she combines commercial insight, operational involvement, and a strong connection with skippers, customers, and colleagues.

Jack Steinraht joined Maaskade at a young age and gradually progressed through the fleet. What began as a first introduction to the profession became a career focused on learning, collaboration, and trust. Edwin Swets has been closely associated with the Maaskade Group since the early 1990s and has seen the organization grow and change over the years. With his many years of experience and in-depth knowledge of the maritime sector, he plays a central role within the company as fleet manager. In this position, he is involved on a daily basis in both the operational and human aspects of the fleet and forms an important link between ship, shore, and organization.

Yorke Kooijman is just starting his career in inland shipping and combines working on board with skipper training. As an ordinary seaman at Maaskade Group, he discovers new sailing areas, tasks, and learning opportunities every day. Michel Bruins Slot, born in Terneuzen in 1982 to inland skippers, has been COO at Maaskade Bevrachters since 2025. He spent part of his childhood at a skippers' boarding school, after which he trained as a Maritime Officer in Rotterdam. His experience as a cargo surveyor brought him regularly aboard the Maaskade fleet, and since then he has been involved in the company's daily operations and growth.
