The Maaskade Group has over 15 members within the group and every year we add more companies that can truly pay a contribution to our services within inland shipping or the offshore industry. Within the group we have over 500 people making a difference for our customers every day. 

All barges follow strict safety protocols, are regularly inspected, and crews receive training in emergency procedures, personal protective equipment, and responsible working practices. Safety is an integral part of every voyage.

It depens on the job. When you're a captain you need to have the right certifications (like ADN-certificates) for the type of barge you operate on. Maaskade Group actively supports employees in obtaining these qualifications and in participating in relevant further training.

At Maaskade Group, there are plenty of opportunities for growth and development. Employees are encouraged to take initiative, apply new knowledge, and experiment with ideas. Both professional training and personal development opportunities, such as language or skills courses, are actively supported. Within the Maaskade Group we have multiple discplines when it comes to the services we provide. We are one of the leading companies in liquid transport. With the addition of members like Nauticas Marine Services and Sima Charters, we also play an important role within the offshore market. 

Scheduling takes into account rest periods and personal circumstances. Employees have clear duty rosters, flexible appointments where possible, and support during periods of intensive work on board or in the office.

New colleagues receive a structured introduction program with guidance from experienced employees, and practical training on board or in the office, so they quickly become familiar with processes, safety, and the team.

Short lines of communication, clear communication, and a culture of mutual support create a close-knit team. There is a focus on engagement, knowledge sharing, and shared responsibility for success on board and in the office.
